Palm Kernel Expeller
Palm kernel expeller (PKE) is a byproduct derived from the mechanical extraction of oil from palm kernels. After the oil is pressed out, the remaining solid material is called palm kernel expeller. It is rich in fiber, protein, and residual fat, making it an excellent ingredient in animal feed, particularly for ruminants like cattle. PKE is widely used as a supplement in livestock diets, providing a cost-effective and nutrient-dense feed option.

High Acid Crude Palm Oil
High Acid Crude Palm Oil (HACPO) is a byproduct obtained from the refining process of palm oil. It is typically dark brown and contains a higher percentage of free fatty acids (FFA) than standard palm oil, usually between 30-60%. Due to its high FFA content, palm acid oil is primarily used in non-food applications, such as in the production of soap, detergents, biodiesel, and animal feed. It is also valued in certain industrial processes where a high level of fatty acids is required.
- Free Fatty Acid : < 35%
- Moisture & Impurities : Max 3%
Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO)
Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) is a type of vegetable oil extracted from the kernel, or seed, of the oil palm fruit. Unlike palm oil, which is derived from the fruit's fleshy part, CPKO is obtained by pressing and crushing the hard kernel. It has a yellowish to dark brown color in its unrefined state and contains high levels of saturated fats, particularly lauric acid. This gives CPKO unique characteristics, such as a high melting point and stability, making it useful in the production of soaps, cosmetics, and certain food products. After refining, it is widely used in the food and personal care industries.
- FFA as Lauric : 5% Max
- Moisture & Impurities (M&I): 15%
Refined Bleached and Deodorised Palm Kernel Oil
Refined Bleached and Deodorised Palm Kernel Oil (RBDPKO) is a highly processed form of palm kernel oil, achieved through a series of refining stages including bleaching and deodorising. This process removes impurities, color, and odor, resulting in a clear, light-colored oil with a neutral flavor and aroma. RBDPKO retains many of the original oil's beneficial properties, such as a high smoke point and stability, but with a cleaner appearance and taste. It is commonly used in the food industry for frying and baking, as well as in the production of confectioneries, snacks, and personal care products, thanks to its versatility and extended shelf life.
